Art classes at Rhythm & Hues offer a unique learning experience to artists of all ages! Students attend small classes once a week, taught by an experienced and nurturing teaching staff.

Each lesson explores a variety of media, techniques and subject matter and is designed to encourage self-expression and creativity as related to the weekly theme.  Our overall school-year curriculum includes a broad range of instruction, combining basic art principles with fun, age-appropriate art history lessons, and is very “process-oriented.”

This curriculum allows students at all levels to work on similar projects, however individual goals and concept instruction will vary from student to student. Personal sketchbooks are kept, and two children’s art shows are held each school year to showcase our talented young artists.  Weekly class times are listed below. Choose the time slot that fits your schedule and your child’s age/ability. Private lessons can be arranged by appointment.   Call or Contact Us for more information or to register for classes!

Children’s Art classes are designed for children at varying levels of experience and ability.  Our studio space allows us to divide classes with varying ages into separate groups, with separate instructors!  Project goals are individualized to meet the needs of each student.

The Rhythm & Hues curriculum is expanded as the intermediate and advanced art student sets personal artistic goals.  College bound high-school students will receive instruction on the building of a well-rounded portfolio.  Click Here to contact us for more information or to enroll!
